Dj Dave, alias Davide Mascoli is a DJ, producer of Rome.
He began to move the first steps in the world of djing in the early 1990s "mixing" of compilation dances for his friends: there he soon understood that that was his true passion and that would become his work.
In 1994 he joined a show agency working as dj, fonico and light jockey in private parties, disco pubs and locals of South Italy.
In 1995 he bought the legendary Technics 1210, the recorders who made the history of dance music and who are still used in the most exclusive clubs around the world, despite the advent of digital music: they will be his fellow adventures for decades and still now, he uses them in his recording studio.
In 1996 he audited for a local radio from South Italy: he began working as an audio technician for the direction of several programs and collaborates on the realization of several dance music programs. It was the year of hits such as Robert Miles’ Children or Alexia’s The Summer Is Crazy.
In the summer of 1998 he worked as dj at the Julia Village in Peschici (FG).
In 1999 he returned to "make the albums" at the Pugnochiuso Resort in Vieste (FG) where, in addition to doing the dj, he also curated the direction of the theatre inside the resort, bringing to stage shows like Jesus Christ Superstar, Cats, Starlight Express, Rugantino and many others. After this summer experience, he plays in clubs and discopubs around Puglia.
In 2001 he moved to Rome and in a short time managed to settle in the Roman nightlife playing first in private parties and then, away in clubs and trendy clubs.
In 2007, during an evening in a Roman disco, a talent scout of Sine Die, a Bergamo record company, hit by his musical selection sought with clear references to the 80s and 90s music but with modern sounds, he proposes to make an album with his productions.
He began his production activity: he often went to Bergamo in the recording room to record his pieces and in a few months he released his first album: "Dave Selection vol. 1"; house pieces, electro house but also tribal and trance.
A year after the first album, in 2008 he produced "Dave Selection Vol. 2", an album characterized by more lounge, chillout and deep house sound.
In 2009, "Dave Selection Vol". 3" riding the creative wave of the previous years.
In 2010, another Bergamo record company, Color Groove, proposes to make a new album but that marked a discontinuity with the previous ones: it was born so "Rome" in honor of the city where he was born and where he returned to live; 6 pieces of electro-dance very different from each other.
In the summer of the same year he plays in several Sharm El Sheikh resorts such as Crystal Cyrene in the famous Shark Bay.
In 2011 he moved to London for almost a year where he collaborated with different clubs, such as Number 5 in Cavendish Square.
In 2012, he returned to Rome, produces several mashups and remixes and continues to bring his music around the capital and surroundings or, during the summer, in some Summer Place on the Lazio coast.
Since 2019 he has collaborated with several Web radios, airing his DJ sets and while he continues to travel for Italy performing in private events, clubs, etc. with the same passion and enthusiasm as ever before to realize numerous mashups, remixes and unreleased songs Afro House & EDM.
On April 28, 2026, he comes out on all streaming platforms like Spotify and iTunes and on Youtube his last song Afro House titled"Pulse in The Clay": a deep and percussive sound journey where organic grooves and electronic energy melt.
On June 24, 2026, a new production of Dj Dave comes out on all streaming platforms (Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Beatport, etc.) and up Youtube a new track with melodic trance sounds: "Everlasting"; a musical experience made of emotions, lights and summer vibrations.
